History of the Miniature Indoor Golf Game
Classic Golf Gifts is the official licensee and developer of the Arnold Palmer Indoor Golf Game. It is modeled after Arnold Palmer Indoor Golf Course or Pro-Shot Golf in the UK, which Marx Toys marketed in the 1960’s, selling nearly a million units. However, the original style came from Schoenhut Indoor Golf in the 1920’s where it was an immediate success. (see pictures below)
Jay Danner, the current developer of the Arnold Palmer Indoor Golf game, has traveled throughout North America over the past 15 years making stops at different golf conventions, Christmas shows, trade shows and toy conventions.
The improvements of the current game brings the indoor golf into the new decade with oversized clubs and a more durable felt green. He’s added a larger fillable, moveable water hazard to catch and penalize the errant iron shot or drive.
Changes are still being made to improve the shotmaker and accessories added so your course can play and look like the real game.
